FN-03 Key Meeting Fundamentals

(2-half day sessions on-line instructor led) A thorough understanding of mechanical keying is an important skill for the distributor, manufacturer and end user so that the required information can be communicated between all parties. This class on Key Meeting Fundamentals equips students with the skills and confidence to conduct a successful key meeting.

After participating in this session, attendees should be able to:

1. Explain the four most common levels of keying.
2. Implement the requirements of ANSI/BHMA A156.28 – Recommended Practice for Mechanical Keying Systems.
3. Prepare and prioritize materials in order to conduct a successful keying meeting.
4. Develop a key system layout to meet owner’s needs.
