Fundamentals of Project Coordination

(On-line Education) Project Coordination is critical regardless of the size of your project. In this course, students will learn from industry experts how to coordinate their project requirements with other divisions, how to conduct important meetings, how to read templates and so much more.

After participating in this session, attendees should be able to:

Recognize the importance of coordination amongst trades on a commercial construction project.
Interpret the contract document requirements for trade coordination.
Create submission packages for use during coordination meetings.
Prepare and participate in organized project coordination meetings such as: key conference, electrified hardware, access control, and pre-installation meetings.

Join our DOIT instructors, Russ Hooker, Lee Garver and Rodney Weaver for this on-line instructor led virtual training course on two Tuesday's this December.

Course dates and times:

December 6th - 1 pm to 5 pm Eastern.

December 13th - 1 pm to 5 pm Eastern.

Students must attend both sessions to receive certificate of completion.

Key Conference and System Design

(On-line Education) A thorough understanding of mechanical keying is an important skill for the distributor, manufacturer and end user so that the required information can be communicated between all parties. This class on the Key Conference and System Design equips students with the skills and confidence to conduct a successful key meeting.

After participating in this session, attendees should be able to:

Explain the four most common levels of keying.
Implement the requirements of ANSI/BHMA A156.28 – Recommended Practice for Mechanical Keying Systems.
Prepare and prioritize materials in order to conduct a successful keying meeting.
Develop a key system layout to meet owner’s needs.

Join our DOIT instructors, Lee Garver and Rodney Weaver for this on-line instructor led virtual training course two days (Tues. and Thurs.) this January.

January 12th - 1 pm to 5 pm Eastern.
